The final stage of my rainwater filter system is a UV disinfectant. The control module has an indicator for "lamp good" and "lamp bad," but the whole thing is in a shed outside. I plan to use an ESP32 or something to monitor and alert me in case of failure.
How should I detect a failure?
@kr4dio we have a similar need for a septic system. We have hard wired an alarm. Cannot hear the alarm from house so will also be adding a blinking light. Having said that by day two of the pump not working you can smell it from the house.
@kr4dio maybe an ldr instead of a camera?
