KR4DIO

Can anyone help identify the device in the upper left of this photo? It looks similar to the SB-620 Scanalyzer, but doesn't have enough knobs. The panel is also a different green to the rest of my SB-series equipment.

@kr4dio it almost looks like someone took components from a SB-620 and created something custom out of it.

@N2ADV Looking over the circuit, that's exactly what happened. Half of me wants to power it up and see what happens; the other half wants to toss the guts in the parts bin and use the shell for my original idea: an SDR-based panadapter for my SB-102 station

@kr4dio I have similar thoughts about my SB-320… it’s set up for the wrong IF so it won’t work with my 102 and I’ve been kicking around a similar idea.

@N2ADV I've ordered a small LCD display to mount behind the original CRT bezel, and will use a raspberry pi + RTL-SDR to drive it. Since I don't need so many knobs, I also plan to put in a frequency display and GMT clock. Maybe numitrons or maybe just LED
