Riding the momentum of yesterday's QRP Build Event at , I took to building the BNC End Fed Antenna Kit™ for an EFHW QRP antenna.

This SMT capacitor is TOO SMALL. It's a challenge to my old eyes.

Of course, I can't do a build perfectly the first time, I ended up putting the 49:1 toroid assembly on the WRONG SIDE of the board.

Radiator lead wire is fine, though those holes are really small and it wasn't easy to string through.
I DID IT BACKWARDS! Soldered the unun toroidal transformer to the wrong side of the board! AAAggghh!!

Time for some desoldering to correct my mistake... Can it be fixed??

GREAT SUCCESS! It's back on (the correct side).

Re-soldered the unun toroidal transformer to the correct side of the PCB, and there's CONTINUITY! Woohoo!

And the final assembly with the BNC connector attached. Now to wrap everything up and get a long wire cut.
Unfortunately it's too windy outside to test, so I will have to continue this later.
