Absolute major achievement today: Phonie QSO (SSB) on 20m from Germany to the USA (DL6MHC <-> W1C) with only 20W and a end fed wire antenna! First time for me but I was lucky to be one of the first responding to them calling CQ.

@DL6MHC an end-fed?! ok now i'm suitably impressed. maybe the bands are coming back up for us.
