Migrated my domain's MX to ProtonMail. So far I'm really impressed with the look and feel and ease of setup.
Migrating away from gmail will be a gradual and probably painful process!
@m0puh I feel like I should do this, too. Any reason you chose proton mail over Tutanota?
@kr4dio not really. I asked a few of my friends what they thought and a few had heard of/used proton but not tutanota.
I also liked PGP interoperability https://protonmail.com/support/knowledge-base/how-to-use-pgp/
@m0puh I think I’ll switch over my personal domain first and see how it goes. I still have a legacy google apps for business free account I use for my company, and I’m afraid if I stop using it they’ll take it away
@kr4dio yeah, I can imaging google doing that. I wonder if you could leave the google MX records in place and bump the priorities.
Yes, Protonmail is great. I use it for the "business" mail. I use different providers. For example, newsletters go through Yahoo. I also have separate private and hamradio accounts. This way I keep an overview.
