@beyondmachines1 @Xavier I still have the books that program came out of! And some , , and books some where. I learned to program (in basic) on an Apple IIe, I was 7 or 8 at the time. In high school I remember walking across the street to a local university and being able to get time on the Vax/VMS machine - They setup an email account & login. I had to be 15 or 16 then. Sometime between 8 and 15 I got a TI-99/4a for Xmas, and after I started working I got a C64

@kd8bxp @Xavier @beyondmachines1 Yeah, but your computer operators weren’t all white men, wearing skinny ties and lab coats.
(I came up in the IBM 7040 days, with the computer behind glass.)
