God says, "Bless the reporters shouting Epstein questions at Trump." And:

"We’ve got video of a reporter asking a golfing Donald 'Can you escape the Epstein scandal?'

Instead of responding, a wounded Donold waddles to his little golf cart and drives away whilst blasting the song 'Memories' from the musical Cats."

It's a Scottish reporter who shouts the Epstein question to Trump on the golf course — the video is in the linked article.

"Meanwhile, too many mainstream media outlets assume a posture of objectivity and ;fairness' that makes them do ridiculous things. For example, the Associated Press recently quoted convicted liar Roger Stone in a story about how Trump is supposedly “a changed man” after the assassination attempt.

Both the Washington Post and the New York Times embrace this type of false fairness."

"It’s important to be suspicious of corporate media, whose top priority is making money, not speaking truth to power. Two legacy outfits, ABC News and CBS News, are paying millions of dollars in protection money to stay out of Trump’s crosshairs. What else will they do to appease him?"

As Legum notes,

"Notably, in the piece, Allen and VandeHei cite conversations with 'Trump advisers,' 'a longtime Trump aide,' and 'Trump aides' concerning Trump's record over the first six months. There is no mention of views expressed by Trump's critics or even anyone not working for Trump."

So much for the vaunted "objectivity" of Axios as it reports on the Trump presidency.

And it's not just Axios, though they're an egregious example of media sell-out.

Legum notes that last week, the "objective" Axios team Allen and VandeHei wrote,

"President Trump, in terms of raw accomplishments, crushed his first six months in historic ways," the pair wrote in a piece published last Wednesday.

But given Trump's very low approval ratings, the "objective" Axios team faced an explanatory challenge: why the strong disapproval? They met it by saying that Americans "seem tired of all the winning."

"The biggest lie in media is the one that it tells about itself.

Journalists at many mainstream media publications insist that their coverage is objective and unbiased. This isn't true.

Two of the biggest purveyors of this lie are Mike Allen and Jim VandeHei, the co-founders of Axios."

South Park creator Matt Stone says network executives wanted to blur out the tiny penis in South Park's recent comedic commentary on Trump, but Stone and his co-creator Trey Parker fought against it:

"Stone said they made sure that Trump’s tiny penis wasn’t edited out by the suits: 'We put eyes on the penis.'”

"Trump has shown us again and again that he will use every lever of power to silence his critics and punish his enemies.

Now he has the FCC and a major news network doing his bidding."
