Arnie the DXman | HF4<p>Looking for something else, I&#39;ve noticed this...</p><p>If you&#39;re in Europe, do you remember marine weather broadcasts (<a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/Seewetterbericht" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>Seewetterbericht</span></a>) on some German <a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/longwave" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>longwave</span></a> &amp; <a href="https://mastodon.radio/tags/mediumwave" class="mention hashtag" rel="tag">#<span>mediumwave</span></a> transmitters? E.g. 177 kHz of then-Deutschlandradio Kultur and 1269 kHz of Deutschlandfunk?</p><p>In a show of absolute wisdom of the West, these broadcasts were moved exclusively to DAB+, to DLF Dokumente &amp; Debatten, when DLF was the last to turn off the lights on AM on Dec 31 2015.</p><p>And now, these bulletins are COMPLETELY gone 🥲</p>
