Here's something to ponder about the broadcast radio industry:
Is it now viable for a commercial radio station to run commercial-free audio?
An increasing amount of receivers have a visual component (text and graphics). Can the visual part of a broadcast be the part that is monetized (visual ads via RDS/HD/RadioDNS)?
(and QR Codes have been doing well on broadcast television and are the new sales tool)
Terrestrial radio stations are slowly becoming slow-motion TV stations.
