#Linux #Mint is becoming increasing frustrating. After a recent update, very few thumbnails are showing up in #caja - I've tried various things to resolve the issue. Complete uninstall of Caja, resetting permissions, even using an older kernel. Login Out, and back in seems to fix it for a few seconds, but as soon as a new #thumbnail should show up, it doesn't & breaks the rest. #Mint 21.1 (Yup even tried the beta - This all happened before the beta thou). Images/PDFs/TXT/epubs/AppImage nothing
Any one with any ideas... I'm getting to the point of wiping this out and going back to using #Linux #Mint 20.3 - To be clear thou, this was a clean install of 21.0 on a new machine, I don't use timeshift (maybe I should) or esckeeper (maybe I should) so I can't go back in time to see where the problem first started to show up.... but any other ideas would be welcome to try. Forgot to say which #Kernel version 5.15.0-56
@kd8bxp I recently upgraded to Ubuntu 22.04 with the same kernel version as you, and Firefox, Chrome, and Matlab are all unstable. I wonder if it's a kernel problem.
