Hah. Apparently I'm the person these days.

"Hey I have these two large waveguide dummy loads, do you want them?"
And here they are.

A look down the throat.

That's like about 48mm wide?

That sounds like with nominally 47.5mm wide and 22.1mm high waveguide.

The next size up would be WR229 with 58mm x 29mm is clearly larger.
And WR159 40.3mm x 20.2mm is also clearly smaller.

22mm high.
Yep, WR187 confirmed.
So the waveguide is rated for 3.95 to 5.85 GHz.

Waveguide low limit for that is 3.153 GHz and upper is 6.305 GHz.
So on the 6cm hamband of 5.6 - 5.8 GHz we are fully within spec!

On 9cm 3.4GHz hamband there might be some additional fiddling involved.

Might also be worth sourcing a suitable waveguide flange for it.
A friend might have on.
Gota ping him about them.

Tho I do wish it was WR137 for that 5.85 to 8.20 GHz coverage.
Oh well, they ware free.😆

So flaky.
