@bamfic it's what I won the cup for!

It's a box containing 4 18680 lithium cells, and some models to safely charge them from a solar panel, and regulate the output voltage to keep my radio safe.

I got bored of carrying heavy lead batteries when operating portable, this is my current solution.

@M0YNG That's a great idea. Did you publish schematics and source code anywhere?

Ha, it's not complex enough to have software 🤓

I've blogged about a previous version, and may well write another post about this, when I get a chance.
